Since 1986
Our building was a plain black structure back then. Forty years later it's still the same building — just with a mural, a couple of awards, and a family that's stuck with it the whole way.

Danny Boy Pizza
It all started in 1986, when we were known as Danny Boy Pizza. We were younger then, with young children, and we had a dream: a family-owned business that would give Amherst families and young people a place to congregate and enjoy a great meal together.
1991
Our Mural
Amherst artist David Pavlak painted an old-style town mural on the building's east side using ordinary latex paint. All the storefronts you see are painted on plain brick — there are only a couple of real doors in there.

Community Enhancement Award
That year, Amherst City Council gave us the first-ever Community Enhancement Award — "for their efforts to help beautify the community."

Our Growth
We became Olde Town Pizza House and put our boys' names on the menu — Cody's Monster Meal, Anthony's Choice — when they were three and four years old. Maxwell and Dillon came along a few years later.
Ongoing
Our Involvement in the Community
We've coached and sponsored summer baseball teams for years, stayed involved with church and civic groups, and helped Steele High School's hockey team fundraise with spaghetti dinners.
2003
Our Bicentennial Logo
Official barn painter Scott Hagan painted Ohio's Bicentennial logo on our building's west side — with special permission from the state, since we're not a barn. It made us one of only three non-barn locations in Ohio to display it.
